Town Council Candidate, Bradford on Avon South

Kevin Elliott

Kevin Elliott is a lifelong Bradfordian and has run his own plumbing business in the town for over 30 years. Having helped for many years with a soup run in Trowbridge, Kevin is mindful of how many people are struggling with the cost of living and how vital volunteer organisations such as the Hub in Bradford on Avon are.

He enjoys town events and appreciates the way these can bring the community together. He has been entering his vegetables in the Bradford on Avon Flower and Produce Show since it first started.

Kevin says: “This town is home to me and always has been. I grew up with the factory here. It was a big part of the community, and we had a town full of shops that served the factory and people walking to and from work. Now we’ve undergone a massive change and still are. There’s nothing wrong in that, we’re not set in aspic, the town moves on with new ideas and new people.“

If elected to the council, Kevin would like to help expand the market further to attract more outsiders to use our shops and restaurants.
