Town Councillor Candidate, Bradford on Avon South

Jack Vittles

Jack Vittles has served as a town councillor for the past four years, including as town mayor for the last year. He has a background in communications and a keen interest in sport. He is a member of Bradford on Avon cricket club and plays for the first team, as well as helping with coaching children. As a councillor, Jack has especially enjoyed working on our community events, being a key member of the group working on the annual Christmas lights switch on and the Poulton Park fireworks display.

Jack says: ‘Having started a family in the town, I having taken particular pride in our ambitious plan to redevelop our play parks across the town - starting with Poulton play area last year. I have also led the town council efforts to protect the old golf course site and have been involved in our neighbourhood plan. If re-elected I will work hard to ensure that any development in the town is of the type we genuinely need and is community led. I also want to make our current plans for a pedestrian bridge a reality!’
