After four years on Chippenham Town Council, George felt motivated to become a Wiltshire councillor to expand his campaign for smarter, more ethical finance in local government. Having moved to Bradford on Avon, he’s also standing here for the town council.

With a career in financial advice, George scrutinises budgets to ensure residents’ money is well spent and well invested. In 2024 he encouraged Chippenham Town Council to switch into an ethical fund.

As a self-confessed animal lover—and a member of the World Wildlife Fund and World Animal Protection—George is keen to protect our environment and the wildlife that depends on it. “We need to put our money where our mouth is if we want a better future for the planet,” says George, “and I’d be happy to lead that charge on Bradford’s behalf.”
