Ben Reed

Town Council Candidate, Bradford on Avon South

Ben has worked as a civil servant for almost 30 years and is keen to contribute to the local community by serving on the town council. Ben is especially interested in planning and how to make the town easier for everyone to move around, for example older people and those with young children.

He says, “Bradford is just the right size for a strong community, with a good pace of life. People listen to each other here and I value that. To be on the council would offer the chance to be more involved in the decisions that affect the community. It’s important to preserve and enhance the character of the town and I’d be interested in hearing people’s views about how we do this.”

Ben is keen on sport and ensuring we have the right facilities to encourage an active lifestyle for people of all ages.
