Town Council candidate, Bradford on Avon South

Andy Gordon is retired from many years working for Natural England fundraising for nature conservation projects and providing input to planning applications and local plans to improve their impact on the environment.

Locally, he has played a key role supporting Ukrainian refugees including teaching English, supporting with admin tasks and transport, as well as fundraising for Ukrainian humanitarian and military needs.

Andy says: “If elected to the council, I would like to contribute my experience with nature conservation to help promote biodiversity in our green spaces and bring my fundraising skills to use as the council looks for more sources of funding for its projects.”

Andy would also like to encourage food initiatives such as encouraging food and green waste recycling, supporting people interested in growing their own food, as well as campaigning to prevent the development of the old golf course.
